DUSKIN 60th Anniversary

Industrial Safety and Health

Basic Policy

To maintain a space that lets employees fully display their capabilities, we hold a target of zero industrial accidents and strive to maintain and increase the safety and sanitariness of the workplace environment. Additionally, we also deploy employee training related to safety as needed.

To prevent industrial accidents, we not only maintain manuals based on the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's "Guidelines on Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems", but also strive for industrial accident prevention aimed at the ensuring of safety and peace of mind in the workplace, with examples including periodic workplace visits by industrial physicians.

Additionally, if industrial accidents do occur, we have a framework for prompt reporting to the Human Resources division. If a situation results in grave consequences such as death or heavy injury, or if a legal violation or the like is suspected, a compliance report is promptly submitted not just by Duskin, but by subsidiaries and affiliated companies as well. And in addition to maintaining a system for proper response, we also strive to prevent reoccurrences.
However, currently none of our business locations have received OHSAS18001 / ISO45001 certification.

Industrial safety and health risk assessment

Deploying risk assessment for preventing potential work dangers (near misses) leads to industrial accident prevention. We conduct risk evaluations for work content and work environment and employ safety measures corresponding to risk level.

Infectious disease measures

We always stand ready to gather information, issue alerts, and raise awareness concerning global health issues such as overseas infectious disease outbreaks and epidemics, tuberculosis, malaria, and HIV/AIDS. Additionally, we provide health checkups, vaccinations, and pre-posting training for internationally stationed employees and their accompanying family members and offer explanations on topics including foreign living, medical treatment, safety, and infectious disease measures.
In our domestic business locations, we are cooperating with rubella antibody tests promoted by the national government for the target age group by providing health checkup opportunities.

COVID-19 response

At Duskin, we prioritize the safety of customers and employees and promote measures founded on compliance with the policies of governmental bodies including the national level (the national government and related ministries and agencies) and each prefecture.
We deploy infectious disease prevention measures, and will continue to exert the utmost effort in preventing delays in the offering of products and services to customers.
